Een zorg minder

Vandaag hadden we een visite gepland naar Wilco, Renate, Mike en Jaimy. Terwijl we daar naartoe reden werden we gebeld door Theo en Anja. Na wat onderhandelen over de prijs, zijn we eruit. Dus we zouden kunnen zeggen dat het huis verkocht is. Er moet natuurlijk nog wel wat handtekeningen worden gezet, maar dan is het geregeld. Ze gaan nu eerst op vakantie en dan gaan we naar de notaris om het vast te zetten. Dus per 29 februari 2008 hebben we geen vaste woon- of verblijfplaats in Nederland.
Nu kun je dan wat gerichter gaan plannen. Zeer waarschijnlijk gaan we op 8 maart richting Melbourne, Australië. Het is alleen nu de vraag of we dan het visa dan al hebben, want het lijkt wel of ze in Australië steeds meer tijd nodig hebben. Iets wat ik wel frustrerend vind is dat iedereen die het visum na 1 september aangevraagd heeft, eerder in behandeling worden genomen. Als hun dan eerder het visum hebben, dan word ik denk ik gek. Maar goed wat er ook gebeurd wij gaan naar Australië. Al is het tijdelijk op een toeristenvisum.

Today we had planned a visit to our friends Wilco, Renate, Mike and Jaimy. While we were on our way to them we were called by Theo and Anja. After some negotiation we have an agreement about the price. So we could say we sold our house. Of course we first have to sign some documents, but then it’s official. They are first going on a holiday and then we will go to a notary to make it official. And by that we are no homeowners in The Netherlands after 29 February 2008.
Now we can plan our trip. Probable we are going on 8 March to Melbourne, Australia. Now the only thing what is uncertain is if we will have our visa on time, because it looks like Australia needs more and more time with the process. Something what I think is frustrating that the people who applied after 1 September do have a shorter processing time. If they have the visa sooner than us, then I think I go crazy. But whatever will happen, we will go to Australia. Even if it’s on a tourist visa.
